Every roof carries two separate warranties, and most homeowners only ever hear about one. Here's what each actually covers:
Our workmanship warranty · 10 years, in writing
Covers the installation itself: flashing, sealing, fastening, ventilation. If a roof leaks, it's almost always workmanship, not materials, which is why this is the warranty that matters most and why we put it in writing on every contract.
Manufacturer material warranty
Covers defects in the shingles and components themselves. Manufacturer material warranties up to 50 years, registered in your name.
Questions worth asking any roofer
Is the workmanship warranty written into the contract? Is it transferable if you sell? Who honors it if the company disappears? We're happy to answer all three about ours, and we'd encourage you to ask our competitors too.
